The service

Layover is an informational tool that estimates visa eligibility and usable time outside DXB during a layover, based on the inputs you give it and data described on the About page. It's free to use and doesn't require payment or a subscription.

Estimates, not guarantees

Every time shown — exit processing, travel time, the 90-minute return buffer — is an estimate. Immigration queues, traffic, weather, and airline rules vary in ways no tool can fully predict. Always leave margin and use your own judgment, especially close to a flight.

Visa eligibility results are based on data verified against UAE GDRFA as of July 2026, and some entries are explicitly flagged for manual verification because rules change. Layover is not a substitute for checking with GDRFA or your airline when it matters.

No liability

Layover is provided "as is," with no warranty of any kind. The creator is not liable for a missed flight, a denied exit, a visa issue, or any other loss or inconvenience arising from using this tool or relying on its estimates. You use it at your own risk.

Acceptable use

Don't scrape, abuse, or attempt to overload the tool or its underlying services. Don't use it to submit false information at the sign-in gate. The gate exists to keep the tool usable for everyone — please don't try to bypass or automate it.

Ownership

The Layover name, design, and code belong to its creator. The spot and visa data draw on public sources credited where applicable; using the tool doesn't grant you rights to redistribute that data or the site's code.

Changes

These terms may be updated as the tool changes. Continuing to use Layover after an update means you accept the current version. Questions go to the About the Creator / Contact page.
